ELKLAN Training

ELKLAN training courses provide speech and language support training for professionals working with children and young people, focusing on improving communication skills and supporting language development. These courses are evidence-based and equip participants with practical strategies to enhance learning and inclusion across educational and care settings.

Training Dates & Costs

All training dates for 2024-2025 are full.

Training for 2025-2026 are as follows:

Autumn Term 2025 (Available to book now)

  • Tuesday 23rd September 2025     9.30am - 4.30pm

  • Tuesday 21st October 2025          9.30am - 4.30pm

  • Tuesday 25th November 2025      9.30am - 4.30pm

Spring Term 2026 (Available to book soon)

  • Tuesday 28th April 2026

  • Friday 22nd May 2026

  • Wednesday 17th June 2026

Courses are currently due to take place at Woodbury Village Hall, Woodbury, EX5 1LX but is subject to change.

The course is charged at £500

​

This fee includes:

  • 3 full days training

  • Language Builders 5-11 book

  • Accreditation

  • Support while completing the course from a ELKLAN Tutor

Language Support 5-11 years

The ELKLAN Speech and Language Support for 5-11s package is designed to equip educators and support staff with practical strategies to enhance the communication and language development of children aged 5-11.

 

This evidence-based training provides participants with a deeper understanding of how speech, language, and communication skills develop and how these skills impact learning and social interaction. It focuses on identifying and supporting children with speech and language difficulties, offering a range of techniques to use in the classroom to boost inclusion and engagement.

 

The course includes a mix of theoretical knowledge and hands-on activities, enabling staff to effectively implement the strategies in everyday practice.

How to book

Booking your place is easy. Click on the button below to provisionally book your place.

If there are no places available then please contact us using the button at the bottom of the page to go onto a waiting list.​

Payments

After booking, we’ll be in touch to collect a few extra details and send an invoice for a £50 deposit to secure your spot.

​

Your remaining balance will be invoiced 30 days before your course begins, with payment due within 14 days.

​

If payment isn’t received by the due date, your deposit will be retained and unfortunately cannot be refunded.

​

Cancellations

It is understand that plans can change, so here’s how our cancellation policy works:

  • 30 days or more before your course – You can choose a full refund or transfer to another Treetops Speech and Language Therapy course.

  • Between 10 and 29 days before your course – You can choose a 50% refund of payments made or transfer to another course.

  • Less than 10 days before your course – We’re not able to offer a refund, but you’re welcome to pass your booking on to someone else.
